Nourishing Preschoolers
“Yuck! I don’t like that food!” Chances are if you’re caring for preschoolers, you’ve heard this many times. And at the same time, you know how important it is for children to eat a variety of healthy foods. So, what are you supposed to do? This course, provided by Nemours Children’s Health, covers creating healthy eating habits in preschoolers, common eating challenges, and managing those challenges. It also discusses family style dining and suggests activities related to developing food-related milestones in children ages 3–5. This course aligns with CDA Subject Area 1, and it is worth 0.2 CEU's.
