Outdoor Learning Environment

100 % of 100
From a very early age, children are curious about nature. By providing children with rich, purposeful outdoor learning environments, early childhood educators can help the children in their care learn, have fun, and begin to develop a sense of connection to the world beyond the playground. Through interactive learning activities, group discussion forums, videos, reflective writing exercises, scenarios, and a field assignment, participants will learn to create an outdoor environment where relationships bloom and children learn and grow. This is a four hour course worth .4 CEUs.
