Safe Sleep and Sweet Dreams for Infants 2023-2024
Participants will receive information about creating a safe sleep environment in the childcare setting. Learners will gain a greater understanding of the risk factors for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other sleep-related causes of infant death. Discover strategies to reduce these risks. Participants will explore how to create a safe sleep environment in the childcare setting, as well as tips for talking with parents and other family members about creating a safe home sleep environment. This course overs the CCDF topic of "SIDS and use of safe sleep practices." This course aligns with CDA Subject Area 1 it and is worth 0.2 CEU's.
